Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test cases, test frameworks, and test execution workflows in C# and .NET for automotive infotainment systems.
- Design and implement automation solutions for audio-related validation, with a strong focus on automotive audio system behaviour, performance, and quality.
- Integrate and control test hardware and interface components used for speaker and audio simulation within automated test environments.
- Automate end-to-end test sequences, including test setup, execution, result collection, and validation.
- Work with automotive diagnostic functions, including the validation of diagnostic trouble codes and related system responses.
- Record, process, and analyse audio, signal, and measurement data to support test evaluation and root-cause analysis.
- Create structured test reports and ensure seamless integration of test results into the overall validation and quality process.
- Maintain and further develop small internal tools and desktop applications, including WPF-based applications used for configuration, control, and test execution.
- Support the creation, maintenance, and optimization of test data, comparison measurements, and related database entries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and validation teams to ensure robust, scalable, and reliable automation solutions.
- Troubleshoot software, hardware integration, and test environment issues in a timely and structured manner.
- Contribute to code quality through reviews, documentation, and adherence to development standards and best practices.
Requirements
- An experience range of 6–8 years is mandatory.
- Extensive professional experience in test automation or software engineering, ideally as a seasoned engineer within the automotive infotainment domain.
- Experience with Python for scripting or automation is a plus.
- Strong hands-on expertise in C#, object-oriented programming, and automation development in .NET environments.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and automated test cases for complex embedded or system-level applications.
- Strong background in automotive infotainment, with practical experience in audio or acoustic testing considered highly preferred.
- Experience integrating hardware components, simulation interfaces, and diagnostic functions into automated test flows.
- Good knowledge of automotive diagnostics, including validation of diagnostic trouble codes and related test scenarios.
- Experience recording, interpreting, and analysing audio, signal, and electrical measurement data.
- Solid experience with desktop application development and maintenance, especially with WPF; knowledge of DevExpress is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of modern development tools and practices, including Visual Studio and version control systems such as Git.
- Good understanding of software development life cycle processes, test methodologies, and engineering best practices.
- Experience working with databases and maintaining test-related data, measurement results, and comparison records.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach to debugging and validation.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
- Very good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Experience with audio-focused test automation is preferred; broader test automation experience in comparable automotive domains will also be considered.
