We are looking for an AI Enabled Ruby on Rails Engineers with strong front-end and database expertise to architect and build automation solutions on Ruby on Rails. The role involves migrating legacy software to modern architectures and integrating AI-driven efficiencies into Ruby on Rails applications. This is a rare and strategic skill set, especially sought after by our Apple account, requiring innovative architects to lead and establish this capability. Key Responsibilities:

1. Architect and develop scalable Ruby on Rails applications with AI-enabled features to enhance automation and efficiency.
2. Lead migration projects to transition legacy software systems to modern, maintainable architectures.
3. Design and implement front-end interfaces with seamless integration to backend services and databases.
4. Build and optimize database schemas and queries for high performance and scalability.
5. Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate AI models and algorithms into Ruby on Rails applications.
6. Develop automation solutions to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
7. Establish best practices and coding standards for Ruby on Rails development within the team.
8. Mentor and guide junior engineers and developers in adopting AI-enabled development practices.
9. Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions.
10. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Ruby on Rails applications and AI integrations.
11. Stay updated with emerging AI technologies and Ruby on Rails advancements to continuously innovate.
12. Drive adoption of AI efficiencies in existing and new Ruby on Rails projects to meet client expectations.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails architect or senior engineer with strong front-end and database skills.
3. Demonstrated expertise in building automation solutions using Ruby on Rails.
4. Experience in migrating legacy software systems to modern architectures.
5. Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and experience integrating AI capabilities into web applications.
6. Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and relevant frameworks.
7. Proficiency in database design, optimization, and management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
8. Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms is a plus.
9. Ability to design scalable, maintainable, and secure software architectures.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
11. Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
12. Passion for innovation and continuous learning in AI and Ruby on Rails technologies.
