We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with experience in both on-premises and cloud-based data platforms, including AWS and Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric, as well as relational databases like Aurora, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. Requirements

  1. Proven experience working with both on-premises and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments).
  2. Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms and warehouses such as Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or equivalent technologies.
  3. Strong background in relational database technologies, including Aurora, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar enterprise databases.
  4. Experience with ETL tools, particularly AWS Glue or similar solutions.
  5. Proficiency in implementing CI/CD pipelines for data workloads using tools like GitHub Actions.
  6. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  7. Solid understanding of networking, security, and best practices in cloud environments.
  8. Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools for data platforms.
  9. Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  10. Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  1. Design, implement, and manage on-premises and cloud-based data platforms and infrastructure.
  2. Develop and maintain cloud data warehouses using technologies like Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric.
  3. Administer and optimize relational databases such as Aurora, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar.
  4. Build, deploy, and manage ETL pipelines using AWS Glue or equivalent ETL tools.
  5. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data workloads using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
  6. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using IaC tools.
  7. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data platform performance and reliability.
  8. Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across all data platforms and pipelines.
  9. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions.
  10. Document processes, configurations, and best practices for ongoing operations and team knowledge sharing.
