We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with experience in both on-premises and cloud-based data platforms, including AWS and Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric, as well as relational databases like Aurora, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. Requirements
- Proven experience working with both on-premises and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments).
- Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms and warehouses such as Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or equivalent technologies.
- Strong background in relational database technologies, including Aurora, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar enterprise databases.
- Experience with ETL tools, particularly AWS Glue or similar solutions.
- Proficiency in implementing CI/CD pipelines for data workloads using tools like GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and best practices in cloud environments.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools for data platforms.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage on-premises and cloud-based data platforms and infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain cloud data warehouses using technologies like Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric.
- Administer and optimize relational databases such as Aurora, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar.
- Build, deploy, and manage ETL pipelines using AWS Glue or equivalent ETL tools.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data workloads using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using IaC tools.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data platform performance and reliability.
- Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across all data platforms and pipelines.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices for ongoing operations and team knowledge sharing.
