We’re currently inviting applications for the role of Facilities Manager responsible for supporting delivering and managing high quality engineering facilities across a multi-site India portfolio. Ensuring safe, compliant and well-maintained workplaces that support our businesses operational needs, but also ensuring our engineers have the highest quality facilities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • This is a hands-on role that requires someone who can quickly assess the environment, take ownership, and drive meaningful change across our facilities as the business expands across India.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of multiple sites, ensuring all building facilities, equipment, and grounds are maintained to a high standard.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, identifying maintenance needs, safety risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and reactive repairs efficiently.
  • Ensure all sites comply with Indian legislation, including Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Partner with site managers to understand operational requirements and prioritise work accordingly.Manage relationships with external contractors, vendors, and service providers, ensuring high standards and value for money.
  • Lead projects such as refurbishments, relocations, and facilities upgrades including IT infrastructure.Maintain accurate records for compliance, certifications, and inspections.
  • Coordinate emergency procedures, including fire safety, incident reporting, and business continuity planning.Monitor and manage the facilities budget, providing updates and forecasts to senior leadership.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and monitor utilities usage to identify energy and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Preparation and continually review facility budgets, in collaboration with the internal finance team. 

Requirements:

  • Proven facilities management experience, with a minimum of 8 years in a hands-on role for a multi-site environment
  • Must have prior experience in delivering new facility projects from start to finish.
  • Experience managing external vendors and contractors
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety and building management compliance requirements
  • Commercially aware with a practical, solutions-focused approach
  • Confident people manager with the ability to lead and develop a team
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsWell organised, proactive and comfortable working independently
  • Must be experienced with MS Excel especially and all other Microsoft tools.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • You must have first-rate business level English and communications skills.
  • As such, you’ll need a confident personality who enjoys interacting with all levels and departments in a business.
  • And most importantly, you are a team player, you are open-minded and have a positive approach to challenges
