We are seeking an experienced IBM Datacap Developer who will also manage administrative responsibilities for Datacap environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in developing custom Datacap applications, performing installation and upgrades, and hands on experience with IBM Data Studio. 

Roles & Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade IBM Datacap environments across development, test, and 
  production systems.
• Ensure system stability and performance during upgrades and migrations.
• Design and develop custom Datacap applications to meet business requirements.
• Implement rulesets, workflows, and actions for document capture and processing.
• Integrate Datacap with other IBM products and third-party systems as needed.
• Manage Datacap servers, services, and user access.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches.
• Maintain backup and recovery procedures for Datacap environments.
• Utilize IBM Data Studio for database management and query optimization. 
• Perform database-related tasks for Datacap applications, including schema updates and 
  performance tuning. 
• Prepare technical documentation for installations, configurations, and custom solutions. 
• Provide Level 2/3 support for Datacap-related issues.

Requirements 

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IBM Datacap (installation, configuration, development). 
• Proficiency in creating custom Datacap applications and workflows. 
• Hands-on experience with IBM Data Studio for database management.
• Knowledge of Windows Server administration and IIS configuration. 
• Familiarity with SQL Server or DB2 databases. 
• Understanding of OCR technologies and document capture processes. 
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. 
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
