We are seeking PLM Functional Consultant We are seeking an experienced PLM Functional Consultant specializing in the process industry to lead the migration and configuration of SAP Recipe Management to S/4HANA Recipe Development. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP PLM, strong knowledge of specification and recipe management, and hands-on experience with data migration and system integration. Key Responsibilities

1. Lead end-to-end functional activities for migrating SAP Recipe Management (R/3-RM) to S/4HANA Recipe Development (RD).
2. Conduct comprehensive fit-gap analysis between legacy SAP PLM solutions and S/4HANA RD capabilities.
3. Define, document, and maintain detailed functional specifications, process flows, and configuration requirements.
4. Collaborate with technical teams to drive data migration, enhancement development, and interface/integration design.
5. Configure SAP S/4HANA RD modules, including specification management, recipe management, label management, and output management.
6. Oversee and execute unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
7. Provide training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to business users and support teams.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues during migration, go-live, and hyper care phases.
9. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support integration with external regulatory and ERP systems.
10. Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

1. Minimum 8 years of hands-on SAP PLM experience, with strong expertise in Recipe Management (SAP R/3-RM).
2. Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA PLM RD configuration and migration projects.
3. Deep understanding of specification management, output management, labelling, and compliance processes.
4. Demonstrated expertise in migration of Recipe & Specification Objects.
5. Experience with data model harmonization, access control, and change management in PLM environments.
6. Familiarity with SAP Document Management System (DMS) and integration with external systems (e.g., Regulatory, ERP).
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including performance tuning and enhancement impact analysis.
8. Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
9. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
10. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field; SAP PLM certification is a plus.
