QA Lead (Manual)

A dynamic and fast-growing engineering company headquartered in Munich, Germany employing around 2350 employees globally across 20 project locations in 8 countries including multiple locations across the UK.

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead / Manager with a strong foundation in manual testing and basic automation knowledge (Python preferred). The ideal candidate will have proven experience in people management, delivery ownership, and leading quality assurance efforts across multiple projects. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage QA activities across multiple projects, ensuring quality deliverables.
• Drive manual testing execution, planning, and strategy.
• Mentor and guide QA team members; manage team performance and task allocation.
• Review and approve test plans, test cases, and execution reports.
• Ensure adherence to testing best practices and quality standards.
• Coordinate with development, product, and client stakeholders.
• Support and guide basic automation initiatives within the team.
• Track defects, risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure timely delivery of QA milestones and project goals.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in manual testing.
• Proven experience in a QA Lead or Managerial role.
• Solid understanding of testing concepts, processes, and best practices.
• Basic knowledge of automation (Python preferred).
• Experience in team management and stakeholder coordination.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Exposure to automation tools/frameworks (good to have).
• Knowledge of mobile/Android testing (good to have).
• Experience in client-facing engagements (good to have).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies (good to have).
