We are looking for a Sr Python Developer to join our team in customer location with a strong expertise in Python along with code migration from Java to Python or python framework transition.

Responsibilities

• 6–8 years of professional experience in Python development.
• 3+ years working with Airflow, Kubernetes, and ELK stack.
• Proficiency in Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
• Experience with database migration, especially from MS SQL to open-source DBs (e.g., Spark, ClickHouse).
• Background in code migration (Java to Python or Python framework transitions).
• Solid grasp of microservices, RESTful APIs, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Proficient in Git and collaborative development practices.
• (Preferred) Exposure to Generative AI, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), or big data tools.

Requirements

• Design and develop robust Python applications and services.
• Build and manage data pipelines using Apache Airflow.
• Deploy and scale applications on Kubernetes.
• Implement and monitor logging systems using the ELK stack.
• Develop APIs using Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
• Lead or support database migrations (MS SQL to Spark/ClickHouse).
• Refactor or port code from Java to Python and across Python frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Data Engineering, AI/ML).
• Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Document technical workflows and contribute to best practices
