We are seeking an Engineering Analyst to join our team at our customer’s location in Derby, UK. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in technical variance, with hands-on expertise in aero-engine products, aftermarket engineering, and engine overhaul shop operations.

Requirements

  • Previous Aero-Engine Overhaul Shop exposure is must
  • Experience working with Rolls-Royce process and Aero-Engine products
  • Knowledgeable of Aero-Engine, its Modules, Parts and terminology
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully interface with external customers
  • Communications and networking skills with an ability to deliver clear messages at all levels of an organization
  • Process Management and process change / improvement
  • Proven track record of being self-directed, results orientated with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals despite ambiguity and multiple priorities
  • Proven ability to exercise engineering judgement to identify Safety/Reliability/Cost issues and provide solutions
  • Completed Mandatory training on regulatory requirements and Safety Management Process related to Aviation Industry
  • Completed Mandatory training on Customer relations and MRO overhaul/repair activities
  • Awareness of using Engine Data Centre and Maximo Applications is preferred
  • Hands on experience on using S-COST and STREAM applications and experience on using Publication Systems like PS2000 and GTPSS

 

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Technical Variance responses and outputs to the required cost, quality, and timescales, with engagement and support of key stakeholders.
  • Understand the Technical Variance request and provide commitments on the dates for Draft availability, and eventual release of document to the applicant
  • Attend meetings with customer’s cognizant groups like compliance verification, specialists etc to seek solution approvals
  • Perform Technical Execution and approve the technical documentation as Competent Author
  • Analyse technical data and make recommendations for technical solutions (technical publication changes)
