We are looking for MSSQL Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining SQL Server databases and related components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in query optimization, indexing strategies, job scheduling, stored procedure development, and troubleshooting. This role requires a deep understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and best practices to ensure efficient and reliable data operations. Responsibilities

• Interact with clients to gather requirements, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases, including tables, views, indexes, and schemas.
• Create, optimize, and maintain stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support business logic.
• Implement and manage SQL Server Agent jobs for automation, monitoring, and scheduled tasks.
• Perform database performance tuning using indexing strategies, execution plans, and tuning tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues such as deadlocks, blocking, and performance bottlenecks.
• Ensure data integrity, availability, and security through constraints, permissions, backups, and recovery strategies.
• Document database architecture, standards, processes, and best practices.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support for database-related incidents and enhancements.
• Collaborate with application developers and participate in code reviews, estimations, and technical risk assessments.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server (2016 and above) development and administration.
• Advanced proficiency in T-SQL programming, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and query optimization.
• Solid understanding of database design principles, normalization, indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server tools such as SSMS, SQL Profiler, and Database Tuning Advisor.
• Experience with job scheduling, automation, and monitoring using SQL Server Agent.
• Basic scripting knowledge for automation, preferably using PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Agile and SDLC methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git, and Teams.
• Exposure to cloud database platforms such as Azure SQL Database or AWS RDS for SQL Server is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex database issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote and cross-functional teams.
