We are seeking skilled Manufacturing Engineers to join our team at our customer's location in in Scotland with a required five-day presence in the office.
The ideal candidate will have over 4+ years of hands-on experience and strong knowledge of engineering systems and the ability to deploy manufacturing tools effectively.
Responsibilities
- Implement optimized and robust technical solutions to meet cost, quality, and schedule requirements.
- Support the implementation of engineering changes to effectively and efficiently meet project requirements and timelines.
- Manage and develop accurate bills of materials within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Translate design data and specifications into clear and concise work instructions to manufacture products that meet design standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain, develop, and compile detailed work packages and Conditions of Supply for external manufacturing with suppliers.
- Ensure valid and recognized engineering methods are deployed within the manufacturing process.
- Assist in resolving non-conformances by providing technical support.
- Support the compilation of Manufacturing Engineering elements for internal and external design reviews.
- Participate in technical discussions and liaise with design departments and regulatory authorities to ensure product integrity and compliance.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of engineering systems and the ability to deploy manufacturing tools effectively.
- Proficiency in managing bills of materials and ERP systems.
- Ability to translate technical design data into actionable manufacturing instructions.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills for interfacing with suppliers and internal teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
- Decision-making authority guided by established policies, with reviews required for decisions impacting teams, projects, or suppliers.
