We are seeking a Senior Consultant - Aveva to implement and provide operational support for MES solutions using the GE Proficy suite of applications. This role requires expertise in both the functional and technical aspects of manufacturing execution systems, with strong emphasis on the CPG industry. Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end MES deployments and provide operational support for multi-site CPG manufacturing environments.
• Manage and mentor a team responsible for new MES implementations and ongoing system support across multiple plants.
• Oversee daily operational activities, including issue resolution, system maintenance, and performance monitoring.
• Drive small enhancement initiatives to improve MES functionality, usability, and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand manufacturing processes and translate needs into MES solutions.
• Work with technical teams to design, develop, test, and deploy MES solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Prepare effort estimations, timelines, and work plans for MES projects and enhancements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Technical Architects to translate solution architecture into actionable tasks for the team.
• Support Hypercare activities post-deployment to ensure system stability and user adoption.
• Ensure integration and data flow between MES, ERP, Quality, and Historian systems.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with the full lifecycle of GE Proficy Plant Applications MES (development, testing, deployment, Hypercare).
• In-depth knowledge of GE Proficy MES modules including Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Inventory.
• Proven experience with Aveva PI Historian, AF, Vision, and related visualization tools.
• Solid understanding of MES/MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) concepts within the CPG industry.
• Experience with OPC connectivity using IGS OPC DA or Kepware OPC Connectivity Suite.
• Strong proficiency in MS SQL Server (2008–2019), including query development and stored procedure debugging.
• Hands-on experience developing and enhancing SSRS reports.
• Demonstrated experience in operational support, including troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Experience delivering small enhancements such as new features, report updates, and data source integrations.
• Knowledge of ERP and Quality system integrations using middleware such as Informatica or SAP PI/PO.
• Ability to work effectively with Technical Architects and cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills for managing technical teams.
