We are looking for experienced MES Development Engineer to join our various customer location with hybrid work options. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience with MES solutions using a .Net and Oracle technology stack. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in application development and support within manufacturing or supply chain environments
- Hands-on experience with KIWI Plan or similar production planning systems
- Strong proficiency in technologies such as C#, .NET, ASP.Net Core, JavaScript, Angular/Blazor, MSSQL/MySQL, SSIS, Web Services, and API Management
- Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows administration, scripting (Bash, PowerShell), and tools like Ansible and Hangfire
- Experience integrating planning systems with MES and ERP platforms (SAP/Oracle)
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, especially in paper & pulp (scheduling, sequencing, capacity planning, converting, reel building)
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in Agile development environments & knowledge of industrial automation (PLC/SCADA) is an added advantage
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and enhance KIWI Plan application modules based on business needs
- Build and implement functionalities for production planning, scheduling, and capacity optimization
- Develop and maintain integrations between KIWI Plan and MES, ERP, shop-floor, and quality systems
- Provide L2/L3 application support, including incident resolution, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring
- Analyze and resolve issues related to planning logic, data inconsistencies, and system integrations
- Manage and track support activities through ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Support critical planning cycles including month-end and capacity planning activities
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams, planners, IT stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and user training materials
- Identify opportunities for system improvements, performance tuning, and optimization
- Ensure compliance with IT/OT standards, security policies, and change management processes
- Support system upgrades, migrations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide on-call support as required for production environments
