We are looking for Senior Python Developer to join our team at our customer's location in in London with a required five-day presence in the office.

The ideal candidate will have over 7+ years of hands-on experience with Python, database (MS SQL Server) & Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business teams to understand current application architecture and data workflows
• Conduct thorough data analysis and assist in identifying key data sources
• Support the ingestion of data into Snowflake from various structured and unstructured sources
• Design and implement efficient and scalable data transformation processes to support quantitative models
• Develop and enhance solutions to improve data quality and consistency
• Use Python to create dashboards, reports, and visualizations based on business requirements
• Optimize existing database queries and procedures for performance and scalability
• Ensure adherence to data governance and security standards across all stages of data handling

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python is required.
• Expertise in MS SQL Server (including T-SQL, performance tuning, stored procedures)
• Experience with Snowflake is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of data transformation, data modelling, and data quality improvement
• Ability to build dashboards and reporting tools using Python-based frameworks
• And most importantly, you are a team player, you are open-minded and have a positive approach to challenges.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills & good analytical skills.
