Validation Service Engineer

We are looking for Validation Service Engineer to join our team in Shenyang. As a Validation Service Engineer, you will work with experienced engineers in automotive industry and will develop yourselves deep into this area.

Your responsibilities

• Planning and organize test activities/events on request, including timeline synchronization, vehicle transportation, test route development, hotel booking, agenda creation and align with stakeholders, meeting organization, documentation etc.
• Fleet management on request, including booking process, vehicle check, maintenance planning, etc.
• Vehicle preparation before test activities/events according to BMW requirement  
• Execution test activities/events on request, such as shift operation, validation/evaluation according to testing handbook, keep HW/SW up to date, status monitoring and documentation, coordination with process partners and escalation, if necessary, etc.  
• Issue pre-analysis/handshake with process partners, ticket creation with BMW system and follow up according to BMW process
• Reporting in presentation and/or system according to BMW requirement
• Support team leader for management topics
• Support in audit related work
• Other tasks on request

What you bring along

• Excellent in both written and spoken English. Professional in technical communication presenting and negotiation. Good computer skills, experienced user with Microsoft Office for daily work. Experience with BMW specific software tools is preferred
• Skill driver with valid China C1 driving license. No less than 30,000km driving experience. BMW internal driving license B1, B2, E1, W1 is preferred
• Good and wide technical understanding and knowledge of vehicle. Good understanding of technology in automotive industry. Deep understanding and experience in focused technical cluster (such as powertrain, chassis, ADAS, complete vehicle etc.) Experience in NEV and qualification in high voltage system are preferred. Familiar with BMW PMP Process (PQM/Octane). Network within BMW R&D relevant departments is preferred
• Excellent teamwork spirit. Good and experience at coaching others in technical topics. Good and experience in project team in focused technical cluster. Good and experience at optimizing processes and support team leader for management work in R&D topics
